About Kalani
Kalani in Hawaiian means heaven. That’s how we’d like you to feel the moment you enter our sanctuary. Let Kalani Day Spa be your little slice of heaven in the heart of Scotts Valley. We all need a place we can go to find that inner peace, even if just for a moment. Kalani Day Spa is for women and men of all ages. A place where you can enjoy high-quality spa services including many types of massage, skin care services, and mind and body balancing services. Our goal is that during your treatment, you feel relaxed, revived and renewed.
In addition to our broad range of spa services, we also pride ourselves on our special outreach programs including:
- Healing Heroes: With this program, spa services are offered at a special rate to first responders (fire, police, paramedics), healthcare workers, and to men and women who serve or have served in the military.
- Tender Touch: This program is designed for seniors with special rates and services.

Meet Kim Pursley
I have been in the skin care, body, and wellness profession for over 20 years. I built Exhale Day Spa, now Kalani Day Spa, to bring balance into my own life and to share this balance with my community.
My Philosophy
Ohana, like Kalani, also comes from the Hawaiian Islands. It means family. And it’s more than just your mom and dad, sisters and brothers, and children. It’s also your extended family and friends. My Ohana has been my rock over the years and because of them, my heart is full. Because of them, this day spa came together. I want to share this love with my Community, here in Scotts Valley and beyond. My goal is for you to be part of our Ohana.
