As we move into our second month of school starting and celebrating our Back-to-School Specials, Kalani would like to announce our new community-focused program, Community Heroes. Part of my vision in founding Kalani Day Spa, was to give back and show my gratitude to those who sacrifice so much for our communities. Kalani has already offered exclusive wellness programs to first responders and our senior community through our Healing Heroes and Tender Touch programs.
Healing Heroes Program
Kalani’s Healing Heroes program is offered to all first responders, active and retired, such as police, fire, medical, and military. I grew up in a family of law enforcement and corrections officers and my dad is a Veteran. I know firsthand the sacrifices made behind the scenes and created Healing Heroes as a way to say thank you.
Tender Touch Program
Tender Touch is offered to those 65 and up. When my grandmother was suffering from Alzheimer’s, my mom was taking care of her. including taking her to all the doctor’s appointments that were required. It was during that time that I realized how rare it was for our senior community to experience the benefit of a healing touch—a small but relevant kindness. That was the inspiration for our Tender Touch program. I like to say,, “There’s always time for hugs and TLC at Kalani.”
Qualified community members can sign up for free to receive exclusive discounts and complimentary treatments monthly. Both programs were inspired by people that I have such an enormous amount of respect for.
Community Heroes Program
With our new program, Community Heroes, we’re expanding our recognition to include teachers and others who work in the Scotts Valley or SLV school districts. If that’s you, be sure to sign up for the Community Heroes program. Kalani’s Community Heroes program was inspired as the volunteer work I did for the parent’s club at my daughter’s schools. I wanted to be sure to recognize the heart and soul that goes into every day of creating a bright future for our kids.
